Here’s an interesting one. We’ve all seen the videos of crazy Japanese people being hurt doing stupid tricks and whatnot. The majority of these guys are standup comedians. The younger and relatively unknown comedians get put through hell by the older and more famous comedians.
Then when the young guys get older and become famous they pass on the pain to the new guys who come after them. There was actually an incident here a year or two ago were a comedian lost a finger to frostbite doing one of these shows.
