I don’t pay much attention to the news, in fact I try to avoid it as much as possible because it generally only depresses or enrages me, so this might be old to most people already.
Anyway, the excavation site for a subway station in Sao Paulo Brazil collapsed a few days ago, swallowing people and vehicles and leaving a huge crater.
Apparently the collapse was caused by design faults.
