An interesting article about bed times and sleep. A Southampton University study following 1,229 people over 25 years found that those who stayed up really late and slept in the next day suffered no ill-effects, and were, in fact, a little bit wealthier. http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,,1797903,00.html

Taiwanese scientists have bred transgenic glow in the dark pigs. For medical research purposes apparently, although I can’t see why the entire pig has to glow, but hey, glowing green pigs, ’nuff said right? http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4605202.stm
