Another fun word I ran across for a recent translation!
Aquitard!
Never heard this word before in my life, but it made me giggle when I found the translation.
Apparently it means
An aquitard is a zone within the earth that restricts the flow of groundwater from one aquifer to another. An aquitard can sometimes, if completely impermeable, be called an aquiclude or aquifuge. Aquitards are composed of layers of either clay or non-porous rock with low hydraulic conductivity.

We used to have this kind of stuff lying around my house (the cards, not the food thank god).
They were always in bright orange translucent plastic containers, and no one ever seemed to know where they came from.
Anyway, go visit http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards.html to see some more horrors like the “Melon Mousse” and “Rosy Perfection Salad” pictured below…
I suppose they could work to make you lose weight in that no sane person would ever eat something that looked like that… =P

I’m heading to Hong Kong for 4 days for my anniversary so I most likely won’t be responding to any comments (or approving any for that matter) or email until I get back, just in case anyone thinks I am ignoring them.
