These are clips from Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe from the discovery channel. It’s essentially a show where the host, Mike Rowe, travels around and learns about dirty jobs by doing them. It’s one of my favorite shows and I would probably watch it more if I could get my hands on more episodes.
I actually think it’s based off/ripped off of an older British series called “Worst Jobs in History with Tony Robinson”, too many similarities to be just coincidence, and I enjoy the British series as well, but there aren’t nearly as many episodes, and the host on the American show is a bit funnier, mainly because he’s a kind of a dick. =)

These clips are from an episode where Mike works at a pig farm outside of Las Vegas which uses left over food from casinos to feed the pigs.
Replaced the youtube vids that were taken down with a clip from the snake researcher episode. This is hosted locally and clocks in at a whopping 68mbs, so it might take a while to load the whole thing. Hopefully it won’t drain all my bandwidth, if it does I’ll remove it or make it smaller.

I am a dirty old woman used to hard work & “dirty jobs”,myself.
Be it animals or earth,I have built,butchered,milked & fed evrything a farm or ranch has to offer!
Then there was my stint on the shrimp boats……Gee!We were meant for eachother!LOL!
I’ll take your word on the “hottie” part, but he is a pretty funny guy. =)
I have a garbage job. I do it on a daily basis. some are worse than others. What I do is go into someones house and clean their nasty tubs, wheather it be porcelin or fiberglass and clean it. Some of the commercial jobs are filthy. When they are done they look brand new. We actually spray a new coating on them, It has a lot of shine and beauty. This can change the colors. ect ect
You ought to write to the show on their website and get them to come along with you on a job =)
this guy is crazy but sane at the same time But no body else will its a dirty job buy sombody has to do it.
I wouldn’t do half the stuff he does on the show.
Hmm just noticed the videos here aren’t working, half to see if I can fix that.
I’ve meet Kristen (the snake lady) and have been to that very lab doing research mainly with a ROV (not with the water snakes). Though I’ve seen them and I held one when I was on Stone Lab (the island that is a part of but not on the same island as the lab they were on) which has a collection tank of unmarked snakes so I put it there (when caught Kristen and others who work with her put a green mark on the snakes so people know that it is a Lake Erie water snake).
